Sentries (Stationary Guards)

A sentry is a guard assigned to guard over or protect a specific post or location. These posts normally include visitor access points, watch towers, etc. Often the function of a Sentry will include access control.

Access Control

To assist our personnel in delivering an effective service to our clients, we make use of a combination of Acces Control Registers, Visitor Registers, Vehicle Identification Stickerts, Sleeping Passes, Workers / Domestic Identification Cards, etc. to ensure that only authorized persons enter the premises under our control. We strongly recommend the use of an electronic device to record details of access/egress patrol, When a vehicle enters your premises simply scan the bardcode of the license disc and the drivers license. When a vehicle exists the premises scan only the license disc of the vehicle. The information obtained by the device will now be sent to an easy user back-end for viewing

Patrolling Guards

We utilize either offline or online patrolling systesm in conjunction with all patrolling guards to ensure that an effective service is delivered to our client. Check points are setup that must be visited by our patrolling officer. These points must be visited either in specifc sequence or randomly, as requested by our client. On request we can supply the client with a printout of the patrols completed, detailing the points visited, dates and times.

Car Guards

Car Guards are placed mostly at shopping centres and event venues. Car Guards are always courteous and helpful towards the clients, however they do not make a nuisance of themselves. Regular supervision of the Car Guards ensures that they remain alert and neat.

Secuirity Operating Procedures

All of our sites are issues with "S.O.P's". This is a documents compiled, in conjunction with our client, which outlines and stipulates the functions of our personnel at the specific post.

This document contains Standard Operating Procedures, Standard Emergency Procedures, Emergency Contact Details, as well as Special Instructions as may be requested by the client.

The purpose of this document is to prevent "misunderstandings" both between GP Tactical and it's personnel, as well as between GP Tactical and our valued client.
